Jefffrey Weinreb, MD, was named in American's Top Doctors for Cancer by New York Magazine-Best Doctor's in New York Castle Connolly's Guide and was given the Excellence Award from YNHH JAZ Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Conference. Dr. Weinreb is Clinical Program Director of the Yale CME Annual Scientific Symposium on Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis and Gadolinium-based Contrast Agents (May 2011); Chairman of the ACR National Radiology Data Registry Steering Committee (NRDR); Chairman, ACR Forum-Generational Issues and Radiology; and Chairman of Body Imaging Boot Camp, Cleveland (June 2011). He is also Site Principal Investigator for ACRIN 6690: A Prospective, Multicenter Comparison of Multiphase Contrast-Enhanced CT and Multiphase Contrast-Enhanced MRI for Diagnosis of Hepatocellular.
James Brink, MD, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP, formerly the AFIP), and the Board of Directors for the National Council for Radiation Protection (NCRP). Dr. Brink was also named president of The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) for 2011-12.
Leslie Scoutt, MD, has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the American Institute of Ultrasound and Medicine.
Rob Goodman, MD, was appointed Pediatric Radiology Communications Officer for the American Institute in Medicine.
Indukala Doddamane, MD, was appointed Director of Nuclear Medicine Residency Program for Diagnostic Radiology.
Arjun Kalyanpur, MD, Assistant Clinical Professor in Yale Diagnostic Radiology, met with President Obama. As founders of Teleradiology Solutions, Drs. Kalyanpur and Sunita Maheshwari were selected among 18 innovative entrepreneurs to meet with the President during his trip to India in November 2010.
