Research Opportunities

Since the Bio-Imaging Alliance with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Inc., was established, the Yale University Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Center is being used to advance the interests of Yale clinicians, scientists and students in molecular imaging. With the installation of a new cyclotron, several supporting hot cells and chemistry modules the primary focus of the PET Center is to conduct scientific research in humans and experimental animals. The Department is pleased to announce the recruitment of Professors Richard Carson, PhD, as Director of the PET Center.
